Rickey's Cardinals had dramatic re-birth;

kicked NL tail for all they were Southworth.

Baseball has had many in limelight's sway-

each getting there in his own special way.

Durocher moved ballplayers like checkers;

Earl Weaver did it with triple deckers.

Al Lopez utilized superb pitching,

but today one question gets them all itching.
